1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
Contact information — name, email address, WhatsApp phone number (for Daily8 message delivery).
Account information — language preferences, subscription tier, time zone (so daily messages arrive at the correct local time).
Payment information — handled exclusively by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy). We do not store credit card numbers; we receive only transaction confirmations, subscription status, and partial card metadata (e.g., last four digits) for accounting purposes.
Support correspondence — content of messages you send to our support email.
1.2 Information collected automatically
WhatsApp delivery metadata — message delivery status (sent / delivered / read), which we receive from WhatsApp's Business API via Twilio. We do not read the content of user-initiated reply messages unless you address them to our support flow.
Website analytics — basic page-visit information (IP address, browser type, referring URL) if you visit byzzl.com. Used in aggregate for site improvement.
1.3 Information we do NOT collect
We do not access your WhatsApp contacts.
We do not read WhatsApp messages exchanged between you and parties other than us.
We do not collect biometric or special-category data (race, religion, health, etc.).
2. How we use information
We use personal information only for the following purposes:
To deliver Daily8 messages at your chosen time and in your chosen language
To process subscriptions, payments, renewals, and refunds via Lemon Squeezy
To respond to support requests
To send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, payment receipts, account-related notices)
To comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, anti-fraud)
To improve the quality of our content and service (using aggregated, non-identifying data)
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your
data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Legal bases for processing (GDPR — EU/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are:
Contract — processing necessary to provide Daily8 to you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Legal obligation — tax and accounting record-keeping under Korean and applicable foreign law (Article 6(1)(c))
Consent — for any optional marketing communications you opt into (Article 6(1)(a))
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as necessary:
Lemon Squeezy (payment processing & Merchant of Record).
Lemon Squeezy handles your payment, sales tax / VAT compliance, and issues receipts.

message content are processed by Twilio (as our WhatsApp BSP) and Meta Platforms (as the
WhatsApp service operator) for the sole purpose of message delivery.
See Twilio's privacy policy
and WhatsApp's privacy policy.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — providers we use to operate the
Service (e.g., cloud hosting, database). These providers process data only on our
instructions, under written data-processing agreements.
Legal authorities — only when required by law, court order, or to protect
our legal rights.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
5. International data transfers
Byzzle is based in the Republic of Korea. Some of our processors (Lemon Squeezy, Twilio, Meta)
